Jordan Travis connects with Kentron Poitier for a 25-yard score. The Seminoles marched 94 yards on seven plays in 1:35 to cut the lead to six points with 2:17 to go.

Jordan Travis connected with Ja’Khi Douglas for a 6-yard touchdown reception with 9:22 to go. It was the Seminoles’ first points since the very beginning of the second quarter.

Clemson 34, FSU 14: BT Potter field goal

B.T. Potter connects for his second field goal of the night, a 34-yarder. The Tigers’ drive started at the 34-yard line after Florida State failed to convert a fake punt. It was Clemson’s third-straight drive that began in Seminoles territory. The score gives Clemson 27 unanswered points after trailing 14-7.

Clemson 31, FSU 14: Flea flicker TD pass

Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei hit tight end Davis Allen on a double reverse trick play to extend the Tigers’ lead even further. The 31-yard touchdown pass, on Clemson’s first offensive play of the third quarter, followed a 69-yard Will Shipley kick return.

Clemson 24, FSU 14: DJ Uiagalelei scores again

Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei gave his team a two-score lead with a five-yard rushing touchdown. The read option play touchdown came on the heels of Myles Murphy’s strip sack of FSU quarterback Jordan Travis and Tyler Davis’ recovery of the ensuing fumble. That was the first turnover for either team all night. Running back Will Shipley also had a huge 36-yard run two plays before Uiagalelei’s score.

Clemson 17, FSU 14: BT Potter field goal

Kicker B.T. Potter’s 47-yard field goal gave Clemson its first lead of the night with 1:51 left in the first half. That capped off a dink-and-dunk drive for the Tigers: 12 plays and 39 yards over four minutes. Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei was a bit wide to an open receiver Joseph Ngata on a failed third down before Potter’s kick.

FSU 14, Clemson 14: DJ Uiagalelei passing TD

Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei found tight end Jake Briningstool wide open in the end zone for a game-tying seven-yard touchdown. Earlier on the drive, Uiagalelei converted a fourth and one from midfield with his legs and hit receiver Antonio Williams for 17 yards on a critical red zone third down. 8:19 to go in the first half.

FSU 14, Clemson 7: FSU retakes lead

FSU went back up on Clemson, 14-7, on the opening play of the second quarter. Linebacker DJ Lundy scored from one yard out on an under center handoff from the fullback spot to cap off a 15-play, 93-yard drive.

FSU 7, Clemson 7: Antonio Williams TD

Clemson true freshman wide receiver Antonio Williams can’t stop making big plays. This time, he broke free in the secondary for a 59-yard touchdown pass courtesy of quarterback DJ Uiagalelei with 6:52 to go in Q1. That came after a big stop by the Clemson defense.

FSU 7, Clemson 0: Jordan Travis TD

Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis opened the scoring with a 20-yard touchdown run in which he juked out Clemson linebacker Barrett Carter on a read option play and cruised uncontested into the end zone. That was a very easy opening possession for FSU against Clemson’s full strength defense. 11:41 to go in the first.

The following players who’ve been injured in recent weeks were on the travel roster: CB Sheridan Jones, DT Bryan Bresee, S Tyler Venables, S R.J. Mickens and DB Malcolm Greene. Swinney said earlier this week that Jones is day to day while Bresee, Venables, Mickens and Greene are all cleared to play.

FSU is Ella Strong

Florida State is honoring the late Ella Bresee with “E11A STRONG” signage in one of the end zones at Doak Campbell Stadium. Ella, the younger sister of Clemson defensive tackle Bryan Bresee, died on Sept. 15 after a battle with brain cancer. She was 15 years old.

Clemson made a similar gesture to FSU in last year’s meeting, a 30-20 Clemson win in Memorial Stadium, by painting the late FSU coach Bobby Bowden’s memorial logo on its sideline.
