Boise State is on the road again, playing its third away game this season after debuting at home last week.

This time, the Broncos are in Texas — where they haven’t played a regular season game since 2004 — to face UTEP at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso. The 2-1 Broncos will be looking for win No. 3 when they face the Miners at 7 p.m. Friday.

Boise State beat writers Ron Counts (@Ron_BroncoBeat) and Rachel Roberts (@ByRachelRoberts) will fill you in on all the action with live updates below, starting with pregame news and continuing well after the final whistle.

Broncos without 7 players

Boise State linebacker Ezekiel Noa is out tonight for the Broncos’ game at UTEP (7 p.m., CBSSN).

Noa exited last week’s game against UT Martin early in the second half and did not return. He will be replaced by some combination of Brandon Hawkins, Andrew Simpson and DJ Schramm, all of whom have played middle and weak side linebacker.

Boise State offensive linemen Ben Dooley and Mason Randolph will miss their third straight games, and tight end Riley Smith is out for the second game in a row. Tight end Kurt Rafdal and defensive end Cortez Hogans Jr. are also out because of unspecified injuries.

True freshman Roger Carreon is poised to start at right guard, while Will Farrar will step in at center in place of a healthy Kekaniokoa Holomalia-Gonzalez.

Pass rusher Isaiah Bagnah is also out for unspecified reasons, but he’s not missing the game because of an injury or a disciplinary issue, according to a spokesperson for Boise State.
