Game recap: Indiana loses to Michigan State 24-21 after missing FG with 2 seconds left
Entering today's game, both Indiana and Michigan State sit at 3-7 overall and 1-6 in the Big Ten.
While IU beat Wisconsin two weeks ago, the Hoosiers are coming off a tight 48-45 overtime loss to Illinois. Indiana was eliminated from bowl eligibility in the defeat.

The Hoosiers began the second half with a bang. Brendan Sorsby completed a 3-yard touchdown pass to James Bomba that capped off an 8-play, 75-yard drive.

IU kicker Chris Freeman missed a 53-yard field goal with seconds remaining in the second quarter. Brendan Sorsby completed 10 of 19 pass attempts for 86 yards in the first half. He also had 4 carries for 40 yards.

After IU punted, MSU drove down the field in a drive that lasted 8 plays for 78 yards. It ended with a 29-pass from Katin Houser to Montorie Foster Jr. That was an impressive play by Foster, who broke several tackles.
