Game recap: Colorado's KJ Simpson hits game-winning shot to beat Florida in March Madness

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Florida basketball team enters the 2024 NCAA Tournament as the No. 7 seed in the South Region and will take on No. 10 seed Colorado.

UF has a 24-11 overall record (11-7 SEC) while CU sits at 25-10 (13-7 Pac 12). Walter Clayton Jr. leads the Gators with 17.1 points per game while the Buffaloes are led by KJ Simpson's 19.6 points a contest.

The game is being played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

That was a great game. KJ Simpson hit the game-winner with 2 seconds left. The ball bounced around for a second but ultimately fell through the hoop.

Simpson led the way with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Florida's Walter Clayton Jr. had a fantastic game with 33 points and 4 3s.

Colorado will face off with Marquette in the next round.
