Little Big Town sings national anthem at Nashville Predators playoff game vs. Canucks

Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook, better known as the three-time Grammy Award-winning country music group Little Big Town, performed the U.S. national anthem Sunday afternoon at Bridgestone Arena before the Nashville Predators faced the Vancouver Canucks in Game 4 of their NHL playoffs series.

Their performance followed Colbie Caillat, who sang the anthem before Game 3 on Friday.

Little Big Town was the first band to have a residency at the historical Ryman Auditorium in Nashville in 2017, when they did six shows there.

All four members of the band alternate as lead vocalists.

Little Big Town won its first Grammy in 2013 for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for its song "Pontoon."

It won its second in 2016, in the same category, for its song "Girl Crush."

The group won its third Best Country Duo/Group Performance in 2018 for the song "Better Man."

Little Big Town performed the anthem before a Predators playoff game in 2017 against the St. Louis Blues.

The anthem tradition began in 2017, when the Predators made an unexpected run to the Stanley Cup Final and lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
