Get lit at the new guitar hotel pool party and light show at Hard Rock in Hollywood

The world’s first (and only) guitar hotel in Hollywood has a brand new way for you to get lit.

At the new Neon Lit Nights pool party at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, you can drink and dance poolside next to the majestic guitar, bathed in its ever-changing lights.

The first poolside party starts Jan. 6 and will return the first Friday of every month for the next few months. You can’t actually go in the pool — that privilege belongs to hotel guests only — but you can witness the lights on the hotel facade as they swirl and pulse, controlled by the live music.

Admission is free, and you can purchase drinks and light bites from the laid-back Beach Club Bar & Grill, which is normally only open until 6 p.m.

No kids allowed, though: You have to be 21 to attend.

The guitar hotel, which opened in October 2019, has 638 guest rooms and rises more than 400 feet over west Hollywood, just east of the Florida Turnpike.

The property also hosts a free nightly light show minus the pool party, with LED lights programmed to music and six high-powered beams that look like strings shooting from the top. The shows, which can be viewed from the far side of the pool, are at 7 p.m. daily and 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and are open to the public.

The other side of the hotel is also home to a different (meaning wilder) sort of pool party at Daer Dayclub, open on weekends from noon until 7 p.m. with cabanas, pool beds and DJs.
