Here’s a list of live music events this week in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex and more. Most events are free to attend. The News & Observer’s list does not include open mic or karaoke nights in the Triangle.

Thursday April 6: Live music in Raleigh, Durham

Live at Lake Raleigh (Raleigh): Live at Lake Raleigh is a free, family-friendly concert series on the picturesque shore of Lake Raleigh that returns on Thursday evenings in April and May of 2023. This collaboration between NC State LIVE and Visit Centennial celebrates the unique voices of North Carolina’s extraordinary music scene. The season kicks off with modern salsa sounds from Latin big band Orquesta GarDel. In addition to picnic blankets, bring your dancing shoes.
