Lisa Rinna Responds to Whether She’d Ever Return to 'RHOBH' and What the Show Taught Her

During a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Lisa Rinna, known for her eight-year stint on TheReal Housewives of Beverly Hills, shared an unexpected benefit she gained from the reality series: an enhancement to her acting career.

The 60-year-old star revealed that her experience on RHOBH had positively impacted her acting abilities. "I'm acting again [and] I'm not kidding — you laugh but it's true. I think it made me a better actor," she affirmed during the interview.

Rinna, who has returned to scripted shows since departing from the reality series, emphasized its influence on her upcoming Lifetime movie, Mommy Meanest, in which she stars alongside her daughter Delilah Belle Hamlin, 25. The film draws from actual events and explores the complex dynamics of a mother-daughter relationship marred by cyberbullying.

"Working with those women, going through that experience... I just did a movie called Mommy Meanest, which I trained for for 8 years on that show," Rinna said. "I definitely did and I had a lot to pull from. I have a lot to pull from after working for 8 years on that show, different psychologies of different women, I never would have come across that if I hadn't done that show."

Rinna expressed gratitude for her time on RHOBH but firmly stated that she wouldn't return to the series. "No, never. No I wouldn't," Rinna quickly said. "I'm grateful for that show. I'm the person I am today because of it, but I'll never go back. Nope, I did it. Did it, done it, saw the movie."

Her departure from the show, announced in January 2023 after the airing of season 12, marked the end of an era for the iconic reality star. Despite her exit, Rinna remains appreciative of the support she received from viewers and fans.
