Lisa Rinna didn’t mince words when she was confronted with the idea of someday returning to her Real Housewives role.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills actress announced her departure from the show in early 2023 after eight seasons. The reality TV star said in a statement shared with Parade at the time that her role on the hit Bravo show was the “longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series."

More than a year later, Rinna, 60, was asked if she would ever consider returning to the show. Jennifer Hudson posed the question during the Days of Our Lives alum’s recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the daytime talk show that the singer hosts.

“Would you ever do Housewives again?” Hudson asked.

Rinna answered without hesitation. “No,” she declared. “Never. No, I wouldn’t.”

Even though she was certain about her answer, the former Bravo star told Hudson that she is appreciative for her time on RHOBH.

“I think it made me a better actor,” Rinna said. She recalled her work on Lifetime’s upcoming Mommy Meanest, a movie expected out later this year that she stars in alongside her daughter, Delilah Hamlin. Rinna said she essentially “trained” for her Mommy Meanest role throughout her time on RHOBH.

“I have a lot to pull from after working for eight years on that show,” the mother of two said. “Different psychologies of different women. I never would have come across that if I hadn’t done that show.”

Rinna reiterated that, while she is “grateful” to have spent eight years on RHOBH, she doesn’t intend to revisit that experience.

“I am the person I am today because of it, but I’ll never go back,” she said.
