Lily Gladstone and Riley Keough Investigate a Murder Under the Bridge — Watch Trailer, Get Release Date

Hulu has released the official trailer for its upcoming limited series Under the Bridge, which is adapted from the best-selling book of the same name by the late Rebecca Godfrey.

The true-crime drama (which begins its 8-episode run Wednesday, April 17 with two episodes) follows the 1997 true story of 14-year-old Reena Virk (Cross Hollow‘s Vritika Gupta) who went to join friends at a party and never returned home. “Through the eyes of Godfrey (Daisy Jones & the Six‘s Riley Keough) and a local police officer (Reservation Dogs‘ Lily Gladstone), the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer,” reads its official description.

In the clip embedded above, Gladstone is seen hard at work on the homicide investigation, while Keough’s novelist shows up to pull even more information out of the young girls involved. While the trailer tells us “there’s a darkness in those girls,” a narrator promises “a tale of horror and wonder, of innocence and beauty, of violence and sin.”

Joining Gladstone, Keough and Gupta are Chloe Guidry (The Last Tycoon), Javon “Wanna” Walton (Euphoria), Izzy G. (B Positive), Aiyana Goodfellow (The Outlaws), Ezra Faroque Khan (Doctor Strange) and Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife).
