Lil Nas X made a stylish appearance at Sunday’s New York City Half Marathon.

The rapper, 24, appeared to opt for fashion over function as he took part in the race wearing a pair of Coach high-top sneakers.

The label's distressed high-top style is no longer available on Coach.com, but the style is on sale for $162.25 on Amazon.

Lil Nas X teamed the white high-tops with a pair of black shorts and a St. Patrick’s Day-appropriate green T-shirt printed with the words, ‘NYC Half.’

The star could be seen smiling as he pounded the streets of the Big Apple in photos from the event, which started in Brooklyn and ended in Central Park. According to Page Six, the rapper tried to find a pair of running shoes before competing in the race, but the store was closed, leaving him to wear the trendy Coach style.

In the clip, which was directed by Petra Collins and featured his track "Star Walkin," the singer shared his journey to becoming the person he is today.

"My whole career has been about breaking down doors, and this campaign represents everything I've overcome so far," he shared. "It's about walking into new chapters of life, new experiences and new versions of myself, and it's rooted in authenticity and self-expression — two things I really care about. It was really fun collaborating with Stuart [Vevers] and Petra to bring this to life."

The announcement came after the “Panini” singer made his New York Fashion Week runway debut and walked for the brand during their Spring 2023 show.
