Wait, What?! CoComelon Is Planning A New Live-Action Spinoff This Fall

The popular franchise releases a sneak peek of the show where the characters come to life.

Get ready to sing, dance, and play in a whole new way! CoComelon is about to launch its first-ever live-action spinoff series this fall.

We don't know too much about this series just yet, but here's what we have learned so far.

All About The CoComelon Live-Action Spinoff

The new series is called Melon PatchClassroom and the show centers on Ms. Appleberry, the beloved CoComelonpreschool teacher. In the series, Ms. Appleberry comes to life. According to the news release, she'll "invite your little one to sing, laugh, and learn alongside familiar faces and new friends."

We're not quite sure if that means some of your littles' favorite CoComelon characters will be coming to life as well, but wouldn't that be something?!

The series will focus on early learning principles, "making it a show that little ones will love, and parents can feel confident about."

In Melon Patch Classroom, Ms. Appleberry will be joined by special guests in real life—and she will speak directly to viewers.

Here is a teaser Parents got from Moonbug, the team behind the beloved show.

In the short clip, we see a woman—presumably Ms. Appleberry—drawing on a chalkboard. On it, she simply writes, "Welcome to Melon Patch Classroom."

All About Ms. Appleberry

Fans of CoComelon first met Ms. Appleberry back in 2019. It was the first day of school at Melon Patch Academy for the show's characters. She is now a fan-favorite character from the series and has also been included in CoComelon Lane, as well as the live touring show.

We most recently saw Cece, JJ, and their classmates celebrating Ms. Appleberry in CoComelon Lane's first-ever 30-minute musical special called CoComelon Lane: The Nursery Rhyme Musical.

In the special, Ms. Appleberry goes out of her way to make Cece feel special on her birthday. Cece then wants to organize a surprise for Ms. Appleberry. Cece, her friends, and the parents then pull off the biggest surprise of all—a musical!
