Vanessa Amora is a family housekeeper who shared a video of herself unpacking the sheets. That video now has over 4.5 million views.
“One of my clients got home the other day, and she just had a whole case of brand new sheets from West Elm,” Amora says in the video. “When I felt those sheets, and I tell you they felt like butter? As soon as I got in the car, I bought my own.”
Available in four different colors, the sheets in the video are a best seller for the brand despite the fact that they cost $140-$180 per set.
“Are they pricey? Yes, yes they are pricey. Are they worth it? Yes, also yes.”
After watching this video, I decided to take the brand up on sending me a set to try for myself. Let me just say, it was an experience.

How The TENCEL™ Sheets Feel
I recently received my West Elm TENCEL™ Sheet Set, which includes a fitted sheet, a flat top sheet and a pair of pillowcases.
Just touching the outside of the packaging, I knew these sheets were different. Granted, all my sheets prior to these have been very budget-friendly. The difference was noticeable almost immediately.
Amora is right when she says these sheets feel like butter. Sliding my bare legs under the covers to experience the softness of the top sheet and fitted sheet was indeed like gliding a hot knife through butter. Not to mention, I had a much better sleep. Honestly, it didn’t even feel like I was sleeping in my own bed. The sheets definitely give a hotel-like experience when you sleep on them.
The morning after sleeping with these sheets, I felt more energized, and dare I say, more optimistic? Now that I’ve tried these viral sheets for myself, I realize they definitely make a difference. I'm convinced that investing in your sleep space is worth it, so do yourself a favor and treat yourself to nice things.
