We can name a million perks to making pizza at home: it’s fresh, it’s fun and it’s customizable for those with food allergies and sensitivities. To do it right, however, you need a pizza oven—preferably one that gives you a decent amount of bang for your buck. That’s where we come in.

On the latest episode of Take My Money, Kate tested out the Chefman Indoor Electric Pizza Oven ($450) to see if it’s worth the hype. Better yet, does it compare to the New York-style pizza she grew up with?

In the episode (see above), Kate explains that she grew up in New York and, therefore, has high expectations.

“Pizza is kinda my second language, not going to lie,” Kate says. “I don't really eat frozen pizza, I've never made pizza. I trust my local pizza man to give me the best pizza, so this has to live up to his expectations.”

Kate admits that there’s a learning curve with transferring the uncooked pizza from the paddle to the pizza stone. “We are going to put a lot more flour on this paddle, and we are going to redo our efforts,” she adds.

The question is: Does the Chefman Indoor Electric Pizza Oven live up to expectations? Watch the full episode above to find out and keep scrolling for more details on the product.
