Tamron Hall received a not-so-sweet surprise from her phone-stealing son.

On Wednesday, Aug. 7, the talk show host, 53, shared a video to her Instagram, revealing the unexpected delivery she received courtesy of her 5-year-old son Moses, whom she shares with her husband Steven Greener.

"A few minutes ago I was on a work call and I got a knock at the door, and it was my grocery delivery for this week," the author explained, adding that she's, "about to start crying."

She continued, "I looked down at my groceries... My son snuck on the app, he's 5, my son ordered 75 yellow onions totaling nearly 90 dollars."

"What am I supposed to do with 75 yellow onions," Hall concerningly asked her followers as she dug her hand through the large bag filled with the vegetable. She then hilariously dumped the bag of onions onto the ground and exclaimed, "This is an entire bag of onions!"

"And there's two more bags!" The mom of one added to end the video.

This story has even more layers. Later that day, Hall shared an update on the situation she dubbed "Oniongate." In a second Instagram Reel, Hall and Moses can be seen getting into the car.

"Now we're on our way to donate, how many?" the A Confident Cook author asked, turning to her son in the backseat.

"75!" the 5-year-old excitedly exclaimed.

"75 onions, we're going to donate them to the food pantry," Hall shared.

"Let's go!" Moses cheered.

The sweet idea to donate the vegetables actually came from Hall's fans and followers who commented on the first video.

"Many of you said donate and We did !!! 🙏🏾🙌🏾," she shared in her caption.
