As Station 19 begins its final season, it looks like a whole lot of drama is going to go down. What's more, it may take more than just the first responders in the Seattle Fire Department to put out the flames.

In an interview with TVInsider ahead of the March 14 premiere, Jaina Lee Ortiz (who portrays Captain Andy Herrera) teased what fans can expect from the last stretch of episodes. While she didn't give too much away of what's to come from the ABC drama, she did tease a major plot moment planned for later this season.

The star revealed that before the show concludes, fans will see the firefighters at Station 19 interact with another group of heroes — the doctors and interns at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. There have been a number of crossover events in previous seasons, as Station 19 is a spin-off of Grey's Anatomy. But as Station 19 wraps up its characters' stories, Jaina implies viewers can expect a new set of twists when the show collides with Grey's Anatomy season 20.

"There’s going to be a crazy crossover towards the end," she disclosed to TVInsider. "I have a feeling there’s going to be a major crossover towards the end of the season. And this character has never visited Grey’s Anatomy in this way."

Wait, what does this mean? Obviously Jaina can't spoil the entire show for longtime viewers! But the news certainly left fans curious, especially as season 7 will see Andy navigate a new role as captain of Station 19.

We can safely assume that the final crossover event will involve some sort of crisis that brings members of the Seattle Fire Department and Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital together. What's more, it may take place during the final two episodes, according to hints from Grey's Anatomy showrunner Meg Marinis. In a Deadline interview published March 11, she teased the upcoming Station 19 crossover, saying: "We like to share catastrophes."

"I haven’t read their last two episodes yet. I know generally where they’re going," the Grey's showrunner continued. "What I can tell you is that the Bailey and Ben relationship will continue to cross over. Those two actors love crossing over and it’s very important to them that what they do over here and what they do over there, that it’s one symbiotic thing."

To say we're intrigued would be an understatement!
