New Starbucks Tie-Dye Frappuccino is officially here, but only for a few days
Starbucks is no stranger to making drinks for the 'gram. Remember the infamous Unicorn Frappuccino or ever order the Pink Drink? Now, the coffee chain's newest menu item is taking inspiration from fashion's hottest summer trend: tie-dye. Starbucks' new Tie-Dye Frappuccino combines tropical fruit flavors made from natural ingredients, and yes, it's available now.
Where to get the Tie-Dye Frappuccino
The Tie-Dye Frappuccino is officially available starting today, July 10th in Starbucks locations across the U.S. and Canada. However, it's only available for a few days or really, while supplies last. If you want to get your hands on one, you may want to consider going ASAP.
What's in a Tie-Dye Frappuccino?
According to Starbucks, the drink is a combination of yellow, red and blue colors made with turmeric, red beet and spirulina. It has a "tropical fruit flavor" but is topped with vanilla whipped cream and dusted with more yellow, red and blue powder.
Baristas first leaked the news
News of the colorful drink started to swirl last week when baristas were seen posting photos of their own creations on Instagram. Some even revealed its flavor, writing, "It tastes like a banana Laffy Taffy." Another barista responded to a comment on their own photo, elaborating that "the overall flavor is a light banana with a hint of vanilla."
Business Insider spoke with one anonymous Starbucks worker, however, who called it "disgusting" and hard to make.

Baristas also apparently hate making them
Starbucks baristas have long complained about making elaborate Frappuccino drinks, and this one will probably prove no different with its intricate swirled colors. Before its official release, some even spoke out on Twitter asking customers to be patient.

With the tie-dye Frappuccino launching be courteous and patient towards you Starbucks baristas. This beverage is time consuming. Keep that in mind when ordering for a car full of kids.

So, moral of the story: If you want to try a Tie-Dye Frappuccino, go tomorrow or as soon as you can, and please, be kind to your baristas, people.
