'Sister Wives' Christine Brown Breaks Silence Following Garrison's Death

Christine Brown from TLC's 'Sister Wives'

On March 5, Sister Wives stars Janelle Brown and Kody Brown's son, Robert "Garrison" Brown, died at age 25. His death was allegedly a suspected suicide. In the wake of the TLC family's tragic loss, Christine Brown broke her silence on social media.

Janelle and Christine were spiritually married to Kody for decades but have split from the Brown family patriarch. (Currently, Kody is only married to one wife, Robyn; he and Meri also parted ways.) Despite the fragmentation of the polygamous family, Janelle and Christine and their kids remain close—in fact, they still consider themselves to be sister wives.

On March 8, Christine took to Instagram for the first time since Garrison's untimely death.

"Garrison was a wonderful, caring brother who understood Truely’s need for a hobby and built her a flowerbed," she wrote, alongside a time lapse of Garrison doing just that for his younger sister. "We’ll miss him forever. #gratitude #missyou #loveyou #tellthoseyoulovethatyoulovethem."

Sister Wives fans took to the comments in droves to react and offer their condolences. One person wrote, "I don’t even know you guys and I’ve cried several times over this. As an audience we watched garrison grow up. I am so sorry for your loss."

Another viewer commented, "Please tell Truely that if she continues to grow things and keep gardening, it will be a hobby that Garrison will always be with her spiritually while she is tending the garden. He really wanted her to have that. ❤️"

Meanwhile, someone else wrote, "No deeper or profound loss than the loss of a child. So sorry you are part of the club no one wants to be in. My heart hurts for you and your family."

Also on March 8, Janelle posted the last photo with all six of her kids. She shares Logan, Maddie, Hunter, Gabriel and Savanah with Kody in addition to Garrison.

"I had all my children together last Christmas. It was amazing as it’s hard with everyone’s busy lives to coordinate time like this," the bereaved mom wrote on Instagram. "I am extremely grateful now that we had pictures taken."

On the day of Garrison's death, Janelle, Kody and Meri posted similar statements via Instagram to confirm the news.

"Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown," Janelle wrote. "He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory."
