Amid breakup rumors, Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan confirmed they are still on very good terms, at least on Instagram. Keoghan shared two new tributes on the platform to celebrate the singer’s Short n’ Sweet release, and Carpenter gave her public seal of approval on one of them.
Keoghan commented on Carpenter’s most recent Instagram about her album bonus track, “Busy Woman.” She had shared, “Surprise bitch! I wrote ‘Busy Woman’ with jack and amy just after i turned in short n’ sweet and was so sad i couldn’t include it… it’s one of my favorites so i wanted to give it to you as a thank you for all of the love!!!!!”
Keoghan wrote, “Lets feckin go!! 🔥🥵” Carpenter “liked” the remark.
The actor also posted an Instagram Story, where he revealed his favorite track on the album is the one believed to be about him and their sex life, titled “Bed Chem.” It’s not exactly the move you’d expect from an ex, but things between the couple are seemingly more complex; a source told People on August 19 that they are “on and off.”
Carpenter fanned the flames of a split in an interview with The Guardian, which was released a week ago.
She was asked about working with the actor on her music video for “Please Please Please.” She told the outlet that it was “one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I’m very honored, and I got to work with such a great actor!” The outlet wrote that she then mocked “her own coy diplomacy in a nasal voice,” and repeated, “Such a great actor!”
