Ryan Gosling is Kenough, and so much more, at tonight’s Oscars ceremony.

The actor arrived Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre in an elegant black suit composed of a blazer, pants, and a collared shirt he left open—all embellished with shimmery touches of gold. He paired the set with shiny black dress shoes, and—in a nod to Barbie—pink socks. He accessorized with dainty gold necklaces.

In a rare move, Gosling brought along his entire family—well, not his entire family, as wife Eva Mendes and their daughters were noticeably missing—as his guests to the awards show. The actor walked the red carpet with his mom, Donna Gosling, sister, Mandi Gosling, and stepdad Valerio Attanasio.

Gosling is nominated in the Best Actor in a Supporting Role category for his performance as Stereotypical Ken in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. He will also be performing his movie hit “I’m Just Ken” at the ceremony—a moment we can all look forward to.

His costar America Ferrera is also nominated tonight in the female-equivalent category, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, for her performance as working mom Gloria.

Barbie as a whole has eight nominations tonight, though none were for the main star, Margot Robbie, or even the director, Gerwig.

Robbie, Ferrera, and Gosling also addressed the snubs, and the La La Land star event went viral for his empassioned response. “There is no Ken without Barbie, and there is no Barbie movie without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie, the two people most responsible for this history-making, globally celebrated film,” Gosling said in a statement upon learning the news. “No recognition would be possible for anyone on the film without their talent, grit, and genius. To say that I’m disappointed that they are not nominated in their respective categories would be an understatement.”
