Reese Witherspoon Debuts Fresh Blonde Bangs After Jim Toth Divorce

Reese Witherspoon is welcoming the warmer months, and her single life, with a fresh new look.

The Little Fires Everywhere star shared a selfie on Instagram this week showing off her new blonde bangs—a classic beauty transformation for new beginnings. In the photo, she is seen looking up at the camera while in a garden, next to a gorgeous white flower. She wears natural makeup, golden earrings, and a spaghetti-strap top.

"I love the South 🤍," she simply captioned the post.

Witherspoon was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. Over the years, while she's spent much of her time in California due to her Hollywood career, she has honored her Southern upbringing—most notably in her 2002 rom-com Sweet Home Alabama, and in her clothing line called Draper James, inspired by Southern style.

Recently, she has also been spending time in Nashville, where she and ex Jim Toth have a home, and where they raised their 11-year-old son, Tennessee. Witherspoon also shares daughter Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, 23, and son Deacon Reese Phillippe, 19, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

Witherspoon and Toth, a Hollywood talent agent, announced their separation this March, after nearly 12 years of marriage. And in April, the actress filed for divorce in Nashville, citing irreconcilable differences.

"We have some personal news to share... It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce," Witherspoon and Toth wrote in a statement shared on Instagram after their breakup. "We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together."
