Netflix's newest TV show, Glamorous, is finally here, but it's been a long time in the making. The series originally tried to get off the ground back in 2019 when a pilot was filmed but ultimately never picked up for a series at The CW, the same network that owns Riverdale.
According to IMDb, Brooke Shields was originally cast as the supermodel who created a thriving makeup brand, and School Spirits star Peyton List was set to play AlyssaSays. Miss Benny and Jade Payton are the only two main actors from the unaired pilot to reprise their roles for the Netflix series, playing Marco and Venetia, respectively.
Glamorous tells the story of a queer person named Marco who lands a dream job working for a famous makeup tycoon.
