Prince Harry is coming to New York City.

The Duke of Sussex will visit the city next month during the UN General Assembly’s High-Level General Debate (which will kick off on September 24 and run through the 30) and during Climate Week (which will go from September 22 to 29).

Harry’s visit will serve to advance a number of his patronages and philanthropic initiatives—like combating the climate crisis—including those in line with his work with the Archewell Foundation, his and wife Duchess Meghan’s nonprofit. During his time in the city, Harry will participate in engagements with African Parks, the HALO Trust, the Diana Award, and Travalyst, a spokesperson for the prince said.

It is unclear if Meghan will join Harry in New York or remain home in Montecito, California, with their two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Harry’s trip will come just a few weeks after he and Meghan’s four-day visit to Colombia. Harper’s Bazaar followed the Sussexes on the ground in the South American country as they partook in different activities close to their hearts, including school visits, an Invictus Games training session, discussions with local leaders, and panels on internet safety and the future of technology. “There’s only so much one can do from home and over Zoom, so we look forward to traveling more because the work matters,” Harry said in an interview following his and Meghan’s trip to Nigeria in May, voicing their interest in continuing to travel for their different projects and charities.

He added, “Whether it’s the Archewell Foundation, Invictus, or any of our other causes, there will always be reasons to meet the people at the heart of our work.”
