While it might seem like just yesterday that Prince Archie was a baby, the young royal is all grown-up and ready to start kindergarten later this month.

According to Hello!, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son, who turned 5 years old in May, is set to have first day of school in the next coming weeks. But not before his parents return from their official visit to Colombia, which kicks off today (Aug. 15). Harry and Meghan will start their trip in Bogotá with a welcome from Vice President Francia Márquez and her husband, Rafael Yerney Pinillo, before heading to both Cartagena and Cali.

Though it's unclear exactly where Archie will attend kindergarten, the Montecito school is reported to be "very exclusive" and filled with other "celebrity children," according to royal author Tom Quinn.

“The only thing I’ve heard, because of Meghan’s background working in the kind of Hollywood world, he would be going to a very exclusive school, where the children of other celebrities go,” Quinn said while speaking with The Daily Express earlier this year. “I just think Meghan feels comfortable with people who, that’s why she’s living there, like rockstars, their children always go to school together. And famous actors, their children go to school together.”

No matter where he goes, Archie is likely to make friends. During an interview with The Cut in 2022, Markle revealed that Archie does full days at preschool and is quite sociable, describing him as "the cheerful kid who brings a week's worth of freshly picked fruit for his fellow classmates and enjoys playing a 'roaring' game at recess."
