After nearly two decades working in the health realm, I have tried hundreds of products and worked with dozens of top physicians and subject matter experts, so it's safe to say I know a thing or two about the what actually works and what you should avoid. I've spent the first few hours of this event searching for my favorite items that actually work from oximeters and massage guns to orthopedic braces and orthotics to the best hair growth products and anti-aging sunscreen products. Here are the products I'm recommending to friends and family during this event.

Everyday Health Items

The Bluetooth-compatible PO60 oximeter syncs with your smartphone to help you easily record and track your pulse rate and oxygen saturation. One reviewer called it "accurate and reliable," adding, "Works great and I feel better having one in case. I can monitor someone’s pulse without being in the room on my phone. Love that!"

This super-cozy heating pad is weighted, giving you extra benefits to help get rid of aches and pains. Plus, it has an automatic shut-off to give you peace of mind if you're worried about falling asleep.

If it takes more than a heating pad to fix your lower back aches and pains, Modvel's back brace might just be the fix you need to be pain-free and back on your feet. It's perfect for minor aches, herniated discs, sciatica, scoliosis and more, and it's FSA or HSA-eligible.

If your wrist is taking most of the brunt during fierce pickleball games or from general overuse, the Featol Wrist Brace is an excellent (and deeply discounted) brace worth considering. In fact, at this price, it's worth having it on hand for emergency pain relief from strains, sprains, overuse, or carpal tunnel flare-ups. It's probably safe to say, 24,000 five-star reviewers agree!

The best Hair Growth Products

Vegamour GRO Hair Serum is both a cult and celebrity favorite (Nicole Kidman, Bella Hadid and Mandy Moore to name a few), and for good reason: its ingredients are hair-growth powerhouses. The curcumin stem cell extract has been clinically proven to reduce 5-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) production, a naturally occurring hormone that stifles hair follicles and slows or completely hinders growth. Then there's the red clover that cleanses the scalp to create an optimal environment for hair growth. Its mung bean extract features copper, which works to strengthen the follicle and promote growth. There's also bergamot, which almost immediately works to soothe the hair follicles and reduce stress from within. But what's really impressive is the before and after photos from actual users; the growth is incredible. In some cases, full bald spots are completely filled in. One user said: "It works! I’m constantly looking for products for my hair to grow. At age 60 this works for me!!! Thankful I found this product!! I have new hair growth around my hairline. My hair is growing and strong!!"

Vital Proteins Marine Collagen Peptide capsules help improve the health of your hair, skin, nails, joints, ligaments and tendons. Not only is Jennifer Aniston always singing Vital Proteins praises as an ambassador for the brand, but these capsules boast a cult following with over 5,700 5-star reviews on Amazon. Vital Proteins collagen peptides powder supplement is also on sale if you prefer a powder supplement to capsules. All you have to do is mix it with your favorite hot or cold beverage to reap its many benefits.

While I'm on the subject of hair loss, the Mielle Organics Rosemary Mint Scalp Hair Strengthening Oil might be (in my humble opinion) the best oil on the market because it's fortified with hair growth powerhouse ingredients (30 essential oils!). It topped our list of the Best Hair Growth Oils because of its ability to condition a dry scalp and nourish hair follicles. Plus, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It is by far my favorite, and I have tried my fair share of hair oils. Fun fact: Lab tests showed rosemary oil to be as effective as the FDA-approved hair growth treatment Minoxidil, but without all the side effects that come with medicated hair treatments.

Let's get physical!

Did you know that pickleball could become an Olympic sport in the 2024 games in Paris or 2028 games in Los Angeles? It's true. The sport is taking the entire world by storm, and soon, the Olympic games. If you're considering giving it a go or need new paddles because yours are worn out, Fila's are on sale!

For many of us, the winter months mean fewer opportunities to get outside and exercise. Stay active by bringing the workout indoors with this whisper-quiet under-desk (or in front of the couch!) elliptical foot pedal exerciser with remote and LCD monitor. At $169, it's the lowest price of the year!

Health and wellness from the inside out

I wouldn't be a very good health and wellness champion if I didn't recommend an SPF to the masses every chance I get! I love Neutrogena's Triple Age Repair Anti-Aging Daily Facial Moisturizer with SPF 25 Sunscreen. This all-in-one SPF powerhouse firms skin, evens tone, and diminishes the wrinkles you have, while fighting off future wrinkles with its SPF 25 sunscreen. The best sunscreen is the one you actually use, and you'll want to use this!

Oh, how I love Drip Drop. I have been using this brand's electrolyte powder packets to stay hydrated on the go for a decade. I truly cannot recommend the packets enough to athletes, runners (the electrolytes go a long way to prevent muscle cramps!) and families with children in sports. Water alone is not enough to fully hydrate and restore muscles during times of excessive heat, sweating and strenuous activities. Mix Drip Drop with water and you instantly have a power-packed recovery drink!

M3 Naturals Anti-Cellulite Massage Oil is infused with collagen and stem cells, as well as essential oils that work in tandem to break down fat, tighten skin and deeply moisturize the skin for an almost instant smoothing effect. Rather than me tell you all about it, take a look at any one of the before and after photos left by one of the nearly 50,000 5-star reviewers! Yes, 50,000!!!
