There’s nothing like a perfect slice of pizza—especially when you’ve made that perfect slice yourself. But achieving pizzeria perfection at home is no easy task. To get that irresistible bubbly golden crust, you’re going to need to call in the help of an outdoor pizza oven.

We've been huge fans of at-home pizza ovens ever since they hit the market. Ooni crafted the first portable pizza oven—one that doesn't require literal brick and mortar construction—back in the early aughts, but that model will cost you a pretty penny. Earlier this year, we bought all the latest and greatest models and put them to the test to find the best at-home pizza oven of 2022.

One of our favorite models with top scores in our tests was the Cuisinart 3-in-1 Pizza Oven. It was one of the most affordable options we tested, and now — thanks to Amazon wizardry — it's a whopping 51 percent off, on sale for $147. That's the lowest price we've seen on any of our top-tested pizza ovens, and flat out impressive to boot, considering most entry-level pizza ovens cost upwards of $200.

But basic it is not. With name alone as a hint, you've probably guessed that the Cuisinart 3-in-1 Pizza Oven is a pizza oven-plus. It also functions as a grill and griddle so you can prep all your toppings and bake your pizza in the same place, earning it the title of “Most Versatile Pizza Oven” in our test. We also love using the griddle to make hearty breakfast foods like bacon, eggs, or pancakes—it certainly comes in handy if y0u don’t have another griddle surface at home.

But most important, of course, is its pizza-making abilities. The Cuisinart 3-in-1 Pizza Oven made delicious pizzas with golden-brown crust in about 6-8 minutes. Unlike traditional wood-burning pizza ovens, this one operates using propane, so you don't have to worry about keeping wood pellets handy or tending to a live fire.

Before popping the pizza in to cook, we pre-heated the oven using the propane burner for 15 minutes with the lid closed, and the pizza stone reached a scorching surface temperature of 641 degrees Fahrenheit. That super-hot temperature (ideally 500 degrees Fahrenheit and above) is exactly what's needed to quickly cook crust and toppings evenly, with charred bits and all, just like the pizzeria — and why your standard oven doesn't quite cut it.

We also found that 12-inch pizzas are the ideal size for this pizza oven, which equates to the standard medium pie you'd order at most take-out joints. (A larger pie will fit in the oven, but you'll risk dough sliding off pizza stone's edge as it cooks, which could lead to a messy clean-up.)

If you've been considering adding a pizza oven to your outdoor cooking collection, this is a great chance to try one without breaking the bank. To complete your pizza oven setup, Cuisinart makes accompanying accessories, like an aluminum pizza peel, pizza cutter, or a bundle with the whole shebang — all also on sale right now.
