“The White Lotus” actress Natasha Rothwell to star in and produce TV adaptation of TikTok series “Who TF Did I Marry?”

The lying/cheating/stealing husband drama of the year is getting the dramatization it deserves.

Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to fake a social security number, the death of a stepdaughter, and an entire football career.

Tareasa Johnson's nightmare marriage is becoming a dream project for The White Lotus Emmy-nominee Natasha Rothwell, who's starring in and producing a television adaptation of Johnson's 50-part, eight-hour long epic TikTok video series chronicling her relationship with the alleged lying-ass man to ever pretend to be a VP of condiment company.

Johnson's tale captivated the internet earlier this year as she unraveled the intricate patchwork of lies told to her by her ex-husband, whom she referred to as "Legion." According to Variety, Johnson's series made more than 450 million impressions across social media and earned its creator more than 3 million followers in a two-week period.

"Legion" was later revealed by a crack investigative team of TikTok users to be one Jerome McCoy, who has since publicly denied Johnson’s claims.

Meanwhile, Legion's alleged legion of lies include some truly unbelievable, soap opera-level shenanigans, such as multiple ex-wives, fake family members, fake documents, a checkered criminal past, and even passing off his twin brother's life and accomplishments as his own.

No wonder, then, there was a bidding war for Johnson's story, with ABC Signature and Rothwell's Big Hattie Productions coming out on top. Rothwell, a writer on and breakout star of Insecure, scored a best supporting actress in a limited or anthology series Emmy nomination for her role as spa manager Belinda on the first season of The White Lotus, and will return for the third.

Rothwell will next be seen in How to Die Alone, a Hulu comedy series she created premiering Sept. 13 about a "broke, fat, Black JFK airport employee who's never been in love and has forgotten how to dream, until an accidental brush with death catapults her on a journey to finally take flight and start living by any means necessary."
