Meghan Trainor Stars With Her 4 Dogs in New Freshpet Ad

Singer Meghan Trainor recently expressed her affection for her four beloved dogs. On the occasion of National Pet Day on Apr. 11, she announced her partnership with Freshpet as their celebrity ambassador and featured with her pups in their latest commercial. Trainor affectionately refers to them as a “pack of girls.”

Trainor paid tribute to her dogs Biggie, Roo, Lilo, and Soca in the new Freshpet ad, as per People. Speaking about the pet food brand, she said, “I did research and saw how it’s so healthy, and it’s made with real meat, vegetables, and fruit.” She further added, “My dogs loved it; they dove right in.”

Additionally, Trainor knew exactly what to do when she partnered with Freshpet. She explained, “When we were trying to figure out what we could do, I was like, ‘Well, I don’t know if you guys know, but I write songs, and I am a pop star.’ I wrote them a jingle and shot a music video with my dogs.”

She further expressed delight over how her dogs stole the show and how she got to play the role of a “pop star mom.”

Moreover, the 30-year-old singer is thankful that her four female dogs get along well with her children. She has two sons – Riley, who is 3 years old, and Barry, who is 9 months old. According to Trainor, her sons adore the dogs, and the canines are also incredibly gentle with them.

In addition, the dog mom talked about Lilo, saying, “There are no favorites, but Lilo — our Chihuahua — is kind of our favorite because she just loves the baby so much. This morning, I was waking up Riley, and Lilo fully jumped in his bed, and he just started cracking up.”
