Meet the Olympian-Paralympian Duo Who Founded One of Oprah’s Favorite Things

The Summer Olympics were full of some epic moments—Pommel Horse Guy winning bronze, Sha’Carri Richardson’s viral stare-down, Turkish sharpshooter Yusuf Dikec clinching silver with nothing but a gun and glasses, and even the new inclusion of breakdancing.
But it was a moment of transparent triumph when Tara Davis-Woodhall won a gold medal in the long jump and one of the very first things she did was sprint to the stands and into the arms of her husband, Hunter Woodhall.

Davis-Woodhall isn't the only medal winner in the family—Woodhall is a distinguished athlete in his own right. He is a double-amputee runner with three medals from the past two Paralympics (some of which he won while he was still a high school student!), and, naturally, he plans to go for gold this year. The two met while at a track meet in high school and have been together since.
