We’re all trying to get out and about a little more this summer. Armed with comfy walking shoes, there’s no telling how far we can go on foot. If you’re a seasoned walker, you’ve probably gotten attached to your favorite walking shoe but, to our disappointment, walking shoes don’t last forever. When it's time to refresh those sneakers, the number of budget options out there can be overwhelming. But that’s what we’re here for! We’ve scoped out some of the best budget walking shoes on Amazon and we found this fan-favorite for less than $40: Lancrop Sock Walking Shoes.

Just like the name suggests, these comfy walking shoes slip on your feet like a sock. Thanks to the mesh fabric, it’s stretchy enough that they fit snugly without shoe laces. That means there’s no chance of tripping over your laces when you’re walking your dog or running to the store — and that’s something Amazon shoppers really appreciate.

“I routinely walk about an hour around my neighborhood,” shared one of nearly 5,000 five-star reviewers. “[I] had been so frustrated with my lace-up expensive athletic shoes which take awhile to put on and then the laces are too tight or too loose and so annoying. Knee pain relief

But it’s not just the ease of pulling these on or the comfort of not being bound by laces that shoppers love. Some found relief for bad knees and other pain points.

“These run a tiny big large..but that allows me to add an insole for more support and comfort,” wrote one happy walker. “On their own they are pretty comfortable with no “break in “ period needed. These are a tremendous find for my 67 year old feet ..bunions..arthritic toes,hips and knees. Just what I was looking for to still look a bit trendy in my skinny jeans and dress/ skirts. Great work shoes
