Lainey Wilson had another great night this weekend at the People's Choice Awards, adding to her growing trophy case and delivering another show stopping performance.

The country crooner was nominated for both Female Artist of the Year and Female Country Artist of the Year at the People's Choice Awards. Of course, when it comes to the People's Choice Awards, the fans decide who takes home the trophy. Lainey's army of "wild horses" pulled through and secured Wilson the award for Female Country Artist of the Year. Wilson brought along her supportive boyfriend (and possible good luck charm) Devlin 'Duck' Hodges as her plus one.

Before accepting her award, Wilson performed on stage, at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, with her band in front of a fitting Western backdrop wearing a matching cowgirl-chic ensemble (featuring Wrangler's Wanderer Flare Jeans). She performed her brand new song "Country's Cool Again," which released on music platforms on Friday, February 16. "This track is an ode to my upbringing and the story of my journey in this industry. I'm feeling all the love from country music fans, and I can't wait to hear everyone singing this song back to me while we're on the road," Wilson shared in a statement about the new song.

The single is Wilson's first new release since her 2022 album Bell Bottom Country. Rounding out her performance, she paired the new song with a medley of some of her popular "Bell Bottom Country" tracks including "Watermelon Moonshine," "Things a Man Oughta Know" and "Heart Like a Truck."

"Y'all, I am so proud of country music right now, and I am so proud to be a part of this generation," Wilson gushed in her speech.
