National Dog Day is Friday, August 26, and Krispy Kreme is celebrating the occasion with an exciting new offering. For the first time ever, Krispy Kreme will be selling Doggie Doughnuts, tasty treats made with your pup in mind.

Crafted using all-natural ingredients, Doggie Doughnuts are inspired by some of Krispy Kreme's most popular flavors. The pet-friendly flavors include Original Glazed, Chocolate Cookie, Chocolate Sprinkles, Chocolate Iced, Strawberry Sprinkles, and Chocolate Cheesecake.

Handmade by Huds and Toke, an Australia-based artisan baked pet-treat company, Doggie Doughnuts are doughnut-shaped biscuits that are made with pet-friendly ingredients like Carob, a chocolate substitute.

“Our dogs have given us so much love and comfort to help us through these last couple of years. They deserve this special treat,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, in a statement. “On National Dog Day this Friday, give your furry friend something pawsome.”

Starting this Friday, the Doggie Doughnuts will be available at Krispy Kreme locations as part of a six-count box. The boxes will be available throughout the weekend, but only while supplies last, so be sure to get your paws on them fast. And to keep your pooch looking stylish, Krispy Kreme will also be selling a limited-edition red bandana.

Krispy Kreme isn't the only company offering our furry friends a sweet treat for National Dog Day. Earlier this month, the Portland, Oregon-based Salt & Straw announced that they'd be releasing a new ice cream made just for dogs.
