Kate Hudson's complete style transformation

Kate Hudson is our style crush.

The actress rose to fame in 2000 for her role as Penny Lane in "Almost Famous," for which she won a Golden Globe. Kate's career only got better from there, starring in hit films like "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" and "Raising Helen."

In recent years, the actress broke into the fashion industry, co-founding famed activewear brand Fabletics.

Through all these years, one thing has remained the same -- her statement-making red carpet style. The blonde beauty knows how to dress for her body, never being afraid to rock figure-hugging gowns or midriff-baring outfits.

Kate left little to the imagination at the 2005 premiere of "Skeleton Key" in a shimmery see-through gown with a plunging neckline. It's safe to say that Kate was ahead of her time, rocking sheer gowns before it even became a trend.

Her most memorable looks?

She absolutely stole the show at 2003 Oscars in a Versace gown made with 14-karat gold. Designer Donatella Versace had to hand-sew the lace embroidery onto the gorgeous gown, which had a small train and cap sleeves. Fast forward 15 years later, she made headlines at the 2018 SAG Awards with a rare fashion misstep. The award-winning star wore her heart on her sleeve -- literally! -- in a Valentino gown.
