Murphy beds may have been around for a long time (read: since the early 20th century when William Lawrence Murphy debuted it in San Francisco), but they’ve since made a big resurgence in the last few years. As shopping editors focused on home products, we have noticed a pretty big uptick in Murphy bed interest, from custom-made masterpieces to more affordable finds you can install yourself. We have to admit: Murphy beds are definitely a cool addition to a small space that can easily double as a guest room. So, when we noticed Costco having a major deal on Murphy beds, we had to do some digging.
