The Huckberry x Crocs Classic Western Boot Could Just Be Your New Favorite Shoe

There's never really a bad time to invest in a new pair of shoes. But now that summer has officially started, we think it's high time to replace some of our shoes that have seen better days—especially the ones we take with us to go camping, kayaking, fishing, and adventuring. Huckberry's recent collaboration with Crocs has given way to two exclusive pairs of shoes that just might earn a spot in our closet (and/or backpack).

Taking inspiration from Western cowboy aesthetics, the Huckberry x Crocs collection offers two shoes—the Classic Western Boot and the Classic All-Terrain Western Clogs—and the Western Jibbitz 5-Pack to go with the clogs. Both shoes are deep brown resembling worn-in leather, though they're actually primarily made from EVA. And both are built to take on the great outdoors, of course—though, of the two, we're particularly intrigued by the Classic Western Boot.

This is hardly Crocs' first run at boots. The brand offers a few variations on its website (most of which are currently on sale) and it's previously collaborated with Balenciaga for the latter's rain boots. This is the first time, though, that Huckberry has partnered with the popular casual shoe brand. The Western boots that have come out of this collaboration pull some inspiration from roper boots, which are slightly shorter and less detailed than cowboy boots. But since these are made mostly from EVA instead of leather, they're waterproof, making them a nice option for summer adventures that take you along muddy creeks, rivers, or lakes.

If you don't want boots for summer, the Western-inspired clogs might be your better option. These still have some of the roper detailing that the Huckberry x Crocs collab boots have but with a more classic Crocs look, including the holes in the top that can help keep your feet cool, as well as a multi-way strap. Both the clogs and the boots are available in sizes 7-10 on Huckberry's site (11-13 are already sold out).
