Harry Styles delivered a buoyantly joyful performance of his hit single, "As It Was," at the 2023 Grammys.

Changing out of the chest-baring rainbow jumpsuit he wore during the ceremony's red carpet, Styles took the stage at the Crypto.com Arena in a Gucci jumpsuit covered in layers of shimmering silver fringe and matching metallic sneakers. The fringe added a playful effect to the performance, moving along with the singer as he bounced and hopped across the stage.

The set-up included a raised platform with a rotating stage that an ensemble of dancers moved on, similar to the set in the "As It Was" music video. Styles even executes the same choreography from the music video on the turning platform, in which he and another dancer walk towards each other, eventually colliding into a deep embrace, before solemnly freezing and moving to opposite ends of the stage.

Styles is up for six awards at tonight's ceremony. His hit single "As It Was" is nominated in the categories of Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Music Video. Meanwhile, his third studio album, Harry's House, earned nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. (He already snagged the award for Best Pop Vocal Album.)

In a 2022 interview with Better Homes & Gardens, Styles opened up about the behind-the-scenes process of creating Harry's House.

"It sounds like the biggest, and the most fun, but it's by far the most intimate," he said of the project, which he started working on after taking a six-week hiatus on music during the outbreak of the pandemic.

He also opened up about the concept of 'home,' the grounding ethos of the album. "I realized that that home feeling isn't something that you get from a house; it's more of an internal thing. You realize that when you stop for a minute," he explained.
