Guy Fieri Just Posted a Heartwarming Update About His Son Ryder
Celebrity chef Guy Fieri and his wife Lori were all smiles as they helped their son Ryder move into his dorm room at San Diego State University over the weekend. In a series of photos and videos the celebrity chef shared on Instagram yesterday, the fam can be seen posing in Ryder's cozy new quarters, strolling around campus, and more.
Despite the cheery mood, Fieri admitted that it's "gonna be hard" not being able to see his son everyday.
"It hasn’t fully hit us yet, but not seeing him everyday is gonna be hard...SDSU is really great and supportive to their students and he’s fired up," he wrote in the caption to his post.
But before you start to worry, Ryder is in good hands thanks to a "cool roommate" who just so happens to be named Hunter.
In addition to showering the new empty nester with words of encouragement, fans also applauded Ryder on entering an exciting new chapter in his life.
"Hope Ryder has a fun & successful year! Definitely picked a great school! Go Aztecs!" read one comment.
We have to admit that we're with the group of people who are absolutely shocked that the boy we once saw on our TV screens is now a freshman in college.
"How can he be in college??? He’s still that lil 12-13 yr old shy boy that would appear on GGG periodically," one person revealed.
They really do grow up so fast.
