Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana may have a full house—including several adult children, a young son, and a newborn—but that doesn't mean the celebrity couple doesn't prioritize their relationship. In fact, they have standing dates every single month.

During a recent episode of the Happy Mum Happy Baby, Tana Ramsay revealed how they keep the spark alive after nearly 28 years of marriage and six kids later.

"In our relationship having little kids again, our present to each other on our last anniversary was, we have to go to the theater once a month and we have to go out three times a month," she revealed to host Giovanna Fletcher, before adding that they're "not allowed to wear trainers."

According to Tana, the date night dress code is a side effect of the fact that they wore sneakers and jeans constantly throughout the pandemic. "So we kind of dress up in a nice dress and I’ll wear heels and he’ll wear a suit or a shirt and proper shoes," she said, while noting that it's when they have the "best chats."

"We go out to dinner and we talk about ourselves, we talk about each other, we talk about the kids, but it’s not just about the kids," she said. "And I think being older parents, we just kind of feel we’re better at doing all of that."

The Ramsay's share 26 year-old Megan, 24-year-old twins Holly and Jack, 22-year-old Tilly, 5-year-old Oscar, and Jesse, who is 9 months old.

Earlier this year, Gordon opened up about experiencing fatherhood again later in his life. "I think I'm a better dad this time round if I'm honest," Ramsay told People Magazine. "I know I'm better because I've got experience now and so I think we've done a good job so far with the first four."

He also admitted that date nights were "crucial," whether that means going to a movie, or just a long drive together. "We have a little time, but it's quality, and so that is really important."

"Everyone thinks Monday is the most boring day. It's not. With a young family, we are grabbing moments, and that date night moment is crucial," Ramsay added.
