This gizmo — down to $5 a pop — clips to your car vent for dunking chicken nuggets on the go

We are born with certain inalienable rights: Life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, blah blah blah. One thing that should be added to the list? The right to dip nuggets while in the car without making a mess. Now there’s no reason to sacrifice the sauce thanks to the Saucemoto Dip Clip, a brilliant doodad with a universal mount that clips to your car’s air vents.

Talk about kicking that road trip into high gear! Big sauces can go in “landscape mode,” small ones in “portrait mode,” and circle ones simply nestle inside.

The makers of the best invention ever didn’t mess around. Wanting to make sure your sauce stayed secure even on bumpy rides, they painstakingly researched and tested to accommodate the four most common sizes and shapes of sauces from McDonald's, Burger King, Chick-fil-A, Wendy's, KFC, Dairy Queen, Jack in the Box, Arby's, Popeye's, Sonic, Carl's Jr., Hardee's and Heinz. And the mount that attaches to your vent uses 25 percent thicker metal usually found on vent mounts for a super-secure fit. So there.

I’m thrilled with this addition to life because I can’t count how many drive-throughs I’ve visited only to eat dry nuggets and ketchup-less fries because I didn’t want to risk sticky stuff spilling all over my seat.

I know what you’re thinking: If you’re in the front seat enjoying your dunkable feast and there are people in the back, how to ensure everyone stays sated? Have no fear — if you have vents in the backseat the Dip Clip will work there too.

It’s nice and easy, and so compact that you can store it in the glove compartment and whip it out when hunger strikes. As you can imagine, this amazingness has taken many a fast-food lover to new heights. I leave you with my favorite Amazon review because I couldn’t have said it better myself:

"How did I go so long without one of these??? The Saucemoto was my first "TikTok Made Me Buy It" purchase and I have no regrets. It clips easily to my car's vent and the sauce cups clip in easily so I can dip and drive. No more trying not to dump the sauce by accident while steering with the same hand that's holding the dip cup. It even comes with a dip cup for those places that do the pouches for their sauces rather than the cups. (I'm looking at you, Arby's.) Ya know you end up squeezing the sauce onto the wrapper that's balanced on your lap and you end up getting some sauce on your steering wheel. OR you try the whole "wrapper and sauce on the passenger seat and try to dip while watching the road", which usually doesn't turn out so great. Anyway... I HIGHLY recommend you get one or two. I have two —one for me and one for my passenger."

If you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get free shipping on the Saucemoto, of course. Not yet a member? No problem. You can sign up for your free 30-day trial here. (And by the way, those without Prime still get free shipping on orders of $25 or more.)
