For pre-Prime Day, the Echo Dot (third generation) is on sale for a ridiculous $20, or half off at Amazon.

This little dynamo can stream tunes from Amazon Music, Spotify, Apple Music, Sirius XM and more. In fact, you can pair your phone to it via Bluetooth, so you can bring your own music to the party.

You can also pair it with another Echo Dot to create amazing stereo sound in your home for less than what it would cost for just one Bluetooth speaker from Bose or Sonos. On sale for $45 (was $80), the Show 5 is Echo's smaller, sleeker model. Armed with a five-inch display, the Echo Show 5 is the perfect compact and lightweight companion to your nightstand.

The display has the ability to bring all your smart devices together, while also giving you a visual companion to Amazon Alexa herself. It also doubles as a digital alarm clock. Amazon also has a wide range of personalized clock faces to choose from, so you can bring a little bit of your own yourself to this device.

This Echo device has an eight-inch display, thus making it the percent kitchen counter companion: You can ask Alexa for step-by-step instructions on how to make everything from buttermilk pancakes to veggie lasagna. You’ll get access to Food Network Kitchen as well.

Meanwhile, the smart display is fantastic for video chats via Skype and Zoom. “My Mom was failing at Zoom and Skype.
