We all have our faves that we've loved through the years — and for many of us Fred and Ben Savage are two of them. The brothers have filled our screens since the '80s and '90s with Fred starring in classics such as The Wonder Years and The Princess Bride and Ben portraying the character of Cory Matthews from middle school through adulthood in Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World.

They remain active in the pop culture world, thanks to Fred moving behind the camera for acclaimed episodes of shows like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Black-ish and Ben's involvement in major projects such as Bones, Criminal Minds and Homeland. Now, they're teaming up as the faces of the brand-new launch of Goldfish Mega Bites, a "bigger, bolder, cheesier" reboot of the classic snack cracker.

We sat down with them to talk about their own favorite classics, including toys, games and more!

The OG Nintendo

Nowadays it's easy as pie to blast to the past and game like we used to. The perfect "time machine"? The OG Nintendo, of course! "It is really, really fun to kind of step back in time," said Ben, adding that the game system works "for generations. That's what makes a classic."

You can snag the original Nintendo Entertainment System, now with controller and 30 pre-loaded games, for less than $200 on Amazon! It has the classic look and feel of the original NES, just smaller — and is one of the best ways to enjoy faves like Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, PAC-MAN, Dr. Mario, Mega Man and Final Fantasy.

Speaking of the NES, Fred shared that "my wife and I have both introduced our kids to a lot of classic toys that we've loved." Bringing home your own NES system would be a great way to spend a little family time!

"Nintendo has been and continues to be part of our lives!" said Ben, which brings us to the most recent iteration of Nintendo entertainment: the Nintendo Switch. The Switch is designed to fit your life, transforming from home console to portable system in a snap — so whether you're gaming with family at home or settling in for a long train ride, you can stay entertained with the latest in fun.

And speaking of fun, the game of choice is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which is available on Amazon in physical and digital form for $60. Hit the road with the definitive version of Mario Kart 8 and play anytime, anywhere — together or solo. Race other gamers or battle them in a revised battle mode on new and returning battle courses, and play locally with up to four players in 1080p in TV mode. "I put a lot of time playing Mario Kart and now I've fallen back in love with it," said Fred. "Me and my kids all have Switches. I'm enjoying my time at the top of the Mario Kart pyramid, but it's only a matter of time before my younger, smarter, more agile children snatch from me!"

Simon

Simon says...have some fun! The classic pattern-repeating game has been kicking around since 1978 for good reason — it's simple, engaging and even a little addictive. Players repeat random sequences of flashing lights by pressing the colored pads in the correct order, and the light sequences get more and more complicated as the game continues; sure to lead to chaotic excitement. "Simon was a big game that we still play with the kids," said Fred. "It's challenging, it's frustrating...Simon has it all."

Between the Savages, who tends to take home the glory? "I'd probably give that one to my brother," laughed Ben.

A little Koosh never hurt anybody! They're stringy, bouncy, safe to throw, easy to catch and just plain fun. "Koosh balls were a big part of the childhood, the upbringing, that was always kind of a constant on sets," reminisced Ben. Glad to see they're making a comeback!"

Score this three-pack for $30 — keep them all for yourself, share with friends or add to gifts, whatever floats your boat.

Rubik’s Cube

Nothing says '80s childhood quite like the iconic Rubik's Cube. With its classic puzzle-solving gameplay, the Rubik's Cube has many combinations but only one solution. For those who weren't around back then, each step involves a sequence of twists of the cube to move a particular square. This new-and-improved edition of the Rubik's Cube features an improved mechanism that helps the sides of the puzzles turn more easily. Plus, it comes with the "7-Step Solution Guide," which includes detailed, step-by-step moves and a bunch of Rubik's Cube fun facts!

"I have them on set, especially like when I'm directing," Fred said. "When you're stressed out, you can always fiddle with them. Big fan of the speed cubes."

Goldfish Mega Bites

Goldfish crackers have introduced a new delicious offering: Goldfish Mega Bites. It's a bigger, bolder, cheesier “reboot” of the classic Goldfish that kids of all ages have enjoyed for nearly 60 years. They're 50 percent larger than regular Goldfish and pack a punch across taste, texture and size. Created specifically with adults — aka grown-up kids — in mind, Mega Bites are available in Sharp Cheddar and Cheddar Jalapeño with a touch of heat and deliver a mega indulgent snacking experience with robust flavors and a crispy, flaky texture. You try either variety on Amazon for $14.

Discussing their new partnership with Goldfish Mega Bites, Fred explained, "Goldfish has been such a part of mine and Ben's lives from like early childhood...we're super excited to partner up with [them]. They're bigger and bolder and cheesier than the snack food that you remember as a kid, and I don't think there's anybody who can think back to school lunches or riding in the back of your parents' car on the way to a soccer game or something where Goldfish hasn't been involved." Ben agreed, adding that "Everyone has a different approach and a different methodology to eating Goldfish. I, however, prefer one at a time. I like to savor the flavor. I really do!"
