Looking for a good workout? You could always go for a jog, but with April showers coming and going, that isn't always the most attractive prospect. If you’re looking for exercise, group fun and great tunes, look no further than the Just Dance series. You’ll step, hop and bounce along to new and old hits from the likes of Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake and Meghan Trainor. And once you’ve sweated through the 40 included tracks, you can sign up for Just Dance Unlimited to access hundreds more songs, spanning genres; included are favorites from past versions of Just Dance). The first month is free, and you can cancel anytime. As for the game itself, it'll normally run you $50, but right now it's almost 60 percent off — just $20.

Boxing is a great way to get in shape, but if you haven’t had a chance to get back to the gym, you can turn your Switch into a personal training program and sweat it out at home. Fitness Boxing 2 lets you customize your workout: Choose your trainer, design a routine and even go shopping for in-game items! The whole package is backed by cool tunes from artists like Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran, for a fun rhythm-based practice. All for just 50 bucks!

Amazon shoppers love it. This fellow reports: "I have used many different video game workouts but this is by far the best. [...] The trainer is very encouraging and helpful. The workout goals are customizable, from easy to hard. I track my exertion with a heart rate monitor and I'm consistently in the aerobic and fat burn zone. Ring Fit Adventure

Ring Fit Adventure isn't like the other games on this list — it's a workout that also takes you on an exciting journey across strange lands to battle unusual creatures! This title was a big hit in 2020 and 2021 with gamers who used it to stay in shape during lockdown.

One fan raved, “My arms and shoulders FEEL like they had a good workout. And the crazy bit is... I can't wait to do it again!!” This shopper enjoyed the adventure mode, which was “cute and endearing.” Another customer said, “this game has got me exercising four days in a row ... I look forward to day five tomorrow. I don’t typically exercise this much.” With fitness, inspiration is half the battle.
