Fans Are Having a BIG Reaction to Christina Hall's Latest Instagram Caption

Christina Hall isn't letting anyone mess with her. Today, the HGTV star posted a car selfie on Instagram with a salty message. "Thanks mom and dad for always teaching me about hard work and making sure I knew the importance of making my own money," the Christina on the Coast star wrote. "It doesn't buy me 'happiness,' but it does buy more opportunities and less people being able to mess with me...and that makes me happy."
While Christina didn't call out anyone by name, we wouldn't be surprised if this shady statement had something to do with her estranged husband, Josh. Just catching up on the HGTV star's summer? Don't worry, we got you covered. Though many eagle-eyed fans had a feeling the couple was heading toward Splitsville, Josh filed for divorce on July 18 and listed the twosome's date of separation as July 8—just one day before Christina's birthday. Per court documents, Josh has rights to all HGTV and Discovery Network shows and specials the couple produced during their marriage. (Avid viewers could tell you that's a lot of content—and money.)
Since then, things have been a little... messy. Christina has called her former flame "an insecure man with a large ego," while Josh said, "Those who know each of us, know who we are." But Christina's post came just when it seemed like all of our questions were answered—Josh will not be featured on The Flip Off—and the separation would be handled behind closed doors.
The HGTV star isn't the only person speaking out: Her fans had a lot to say on the matter, too. "Sounds like someone just left her attorney," one person wrote. "Sending subliminal messages to the ex," another said. While many fans celebrated Christina's message of financial independence, others called her out for being a little petty. "The jabs to Josh don't become you, aren't necessary, and are unkind," one fan commented. "Wish him well and move on in a more graceful way." Breaking up is hard to do, but it seems like Christina is ready to put her past behind her and move on to the next big adventure.
