Emmanuelle Vaugier and Kavan Smith Return for the Sequel 'Big Sky River: The Bridal Path'
Last year, Big Sky River starring Emmanuelle Vaugier and Kavan Smith premiered on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and was a hit for the network. The film, based on a novel by author Linda Lael Miller followed Tara, a recent divorcee who takes a summer rental in the rural Montana town she visited as a child.
In the new sequel, Big Sky River: The Bridal Path continues Tara's story as she looks to set roots in said small town.

What is Big Sky River: The Bridal Path about?
Tara Kendall (Vaugier), now settled in Montana and dating Sheriff and cowboy Boone Taylor (Smith), works to bring their family lives together. Tensions soon arise, as they both realize that blending their families will be more of a challenge than they anticipated. Erin (Cassidy Nugent), Tara's stepdaughter from her previous marriage, struggles to find her place in both families, as now she not only has to share Tara with Boone’s children, but her father, James (Peter Benson, who also directs the film), is going to have a baby with his new wife. However, a new foreign exchange student has arrived in town, and he may be able to give Erin the attention she seeks.
Meanwhile, country sensation Casey Elder (Michelle Harrison) has found herself a genuine, down-to-earth beau and her new album seems to stem from her new bustling romance.

Emmanuelle Vaugier (Tara)
Emmanuelle Vaugier has credits in both film and television including ABC's Mistresses and the film Secondhand Lions with Michael Caine. Most recently she has guest starred on Magnum, P.I. and Supergirl.
Kavan Smith (Boone)
Kavan Smith reprises his role as Lee Coulter on the tenth season of When Calls the Heart. Smith has played the character since Season 2. The popular Hallmark Channel series just celebrated their landmark 100th episode. Sci-Fi fans will also recognize Smith from his roles on Stargate: Atlantis, The 4400, and Eureka.
