Emily Ratajkowski may not have an extensive acting career, but she stole the scene while arriving at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
Done up in a vintage green gown, the model stepped out on Saturday at the premiere of Italian drama Campo di Battaglia (Battlefield). She turned heads on the red carpet with a dress from Gucci’s 2004 Fall/Winter Ready to Wear collection, taking care to spotlight all the details of the Tom Ford design.
The most notable feature of her body-hugging dress was the plunging neckline that extended toward the middle of her midriff. Stripes of transparent fabric, layered in between lines of glossy green satin, added to the gown’s sultry appeal. Meanwhile, the bottom of the skirt brought a playful feel to the look with fringe accents, which bounced with every step the model took.
Ratajkowski complemented her archival ensemble with jewelry from Pasquale Bruni, including delicate stacks of silver rings and a pair of dangling diamond earrings. She opted to go without a necklace to let the deep neckline of the dress speak for itself.
As for her makeup, the model leaned into the glamourous feel of the film festival with smokey brown eyeshadow, a light dusting of pink blush, and a glossy mauve lip. She wore her brunette locks in a tousled style with a dramatic side part, and extended the natural look to her nails, which flaunted a nude manicure. The understated glam allowed her vintage gown to be the star of her look.
