Crafty Mom Devises Genius Slobber-Proof Dog Bowl for Her English Bulldog

Does your dog make a total mess when eating or drinking from their bowls? Even though we have a mat under our dog's bowls, there is always water all of the floor around it because she's such a sloppy drinker! The Bulldog Nanny (yes, she's actually a nanny to bulldogs!) has an English Bulldog of her own named Gus who is also a sloppy water drinker. She shared a video in mid-August to her genius solution to the problem, and it's one I want to do myself!

The Nanny took Gus with her to go buy the items she needed to create a new tray for his bowls. She got deep tray, potting soil, and some dog-friendly succulents. Wait until you see the final product because it's gorgeous!

The Bulldog Nanny shared that Gus wasn't sure about the arrangement, but after he tried it, it was a hit. It's such a creative and fun way to keep the floors clean. The only issue I see with it is that my dog would probably try pulling the plants out! I looked for another video to see if she shared how it was working out but couldn't find an update. I wonder if Gus leaves the plants alone or if he did the same thing my dog would do.

Creative Pet Hacks

I don't have a creative bone in my body, so I'm always impressed when I come across clever hacks and how-tos like this one. When I find them, I like to share them with others because if it helps just one other person, it's worth passing along! Does your dog get sidetracked when it goes out to do its business and you want them to just go already? This potty hack might take a few minutes before it works, but it gets the job done.

Does your dog get overly excited when they go on walks and you want to slow them down and keep them on track? This epic trick from a dog trainer is an easy way to do it.

We used to have West Highland Terriers and they hated having their teeth brushed. If your pup does too, you're going to want to see this trick for getting it done with little to know complaints. I wish I would've known this sooner!

Most dogs run for cover when it's time to get their nails trimmed. It's always a hassle and something that neither the dog nor their human enjoys. Check out this air jail idea that works like a charm for this dog dad. And this dog dad had another idea that I know would work on every dog out there!

People get very creative when it comes to getting things done, and I love all the hacks that they share. Sometimes they're time savers and sometimes they are sanity savers, but they're always helpful and things that make me wonder, "Why didn't I think of that?!"
