RIP WHEELER IS one of the most interesting Yellowstone characters, and John Dutton wouldn't be able to run the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch without him. Rip is loyal, hardworking, and devoted to his on-again off-again partner Beth, and for many fans, their love story is one of the favorite parts of the Paramount Network series. In real life, Cole Hauser is just as devoted as the character he plays, but his relationship is even better.

Hauser has been married to Cynthia Daniel since 2006, and they’re the proud parents of two sons and a daughter. And though the couple is pretty private about their relationship, they often share cute snaps on Instagram, and they’re happy to drop sweet tidbits about each other in interviews. In 2020, Cole spoke to People about their relationship dynamic for their “Sexiest Man Alive” issue: “We've been together for 25 years. Through so many wonderful ups and downs as relationships do. We've stayed strong together and just battled through everything and still love each other.”

But while you may have seen red carpet photos of the couple, you might not know that much about Cynthia herself—although we're betting that you've probably seen her in a few of your favorite TV and film classics. Here’s what you need to know about Cynthia Daniel.

Cynthia is a twin.

Cynthia is five minutes younger than her twin sister Brittany, and the two are super close. They’ve starred in multiple TV shows and films together, and they used to have a joint Instagram and blog that they both ran. In 2021, Cynthia donated an egg to Brittany, as she had learned that she may not be able to have children after her previous battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

“I saw it as such a simple gift I could give to her," Cynthia said and E! reported. "I know Brittany would do it in a split second for me. And we've always shared everything, so why not this?”

She starred in a ‘90s classic.

Cynthia and Brittany starred as twins Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield in the show Sweet Valley High. The series is based on the novels of the same name by Francine Pascal, and it aired from 1994 to 1997. During that time period, the sisters also made their film debut in The Basketball Diaries alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. Most recently, the pair starred in the Disney+ remake of Cheaper by the Dozen in 2022.

She’s a skilled photographer.

Cynthia pivoted from acting to photography, and she owns her own company, Five Arrows Photography, which specializes in couples’ portraits, newborn photoshoots, and celebrity shots.

While not much is publicly known about the beginnings of their relationship, one of the couple’s first red carpets together was the Tigerland premiere in Los Angeles in 2000, and they got married in 2006. They have three children.

Earlier this year, the pair hit the Golden Globes red carpet and talked to Us Weekly about how they kept the magic alive. “I would have to say that Cole never lets things get too stagnant, Cynthia said. “He’s always wanting us to improve and grow and not be that old married couple that sits on the couch all day. He’s like, “No, no, no, let’s go. We gotta keep the fire.’”

Yellowstone has impacted their marriage—in a good way.

The show is filmed on location in Montana, which means Cole is away a few months each year. The actor told People, “it’s been a little rough over the last couple of years just because I'm away for five months at a time. It's not easy to parent from afar. Steely is an absolute pistol, and they're great boys. When I'm away they kind of take over, making sure that mom and Steely are watched over. That's how I raised them and I'm proud of them for that." Cynthia and the kids do visit him in Montana, and she once revealed on Instagram that her daughter would “move here [Montana] in a hot second!”

Cole is also very dedicated to making time for his family. “I’m pretty good about compartmentalizing working and family. They are two of my biggest passions,” he told Havok Journal. I am not the kind of guy who forgets about them. I am always making time for each and every one of my children and also my wife, also, as a family together. I am good about making time for the whole family. You have to figure that balance out. But as a father and a husband you have to make the time and work just as hard at it.

Cynthia has even gushed about how much she roots for Cole’s on-screen love interest Beth, played by Kelly Reilly. “I love their characters together. They’re awesome. She’s such a great person,” Cynthia said. She also hilariously noted that she doesn’t let Cole spoil Yellowstone for her, and she instead prefers to watch and find out what happens on her own.
