Chad Michael Murray Is Heading to The CW
Chad Michael Murray is returning to The CW! The first season of the One Tree Hill alum's latest drama, Sullivan’s Crossing, was picked up by the network following its premiere in Canada earlier this year.
“The CW is a place where strong, character-driven family dramas shine and we couldn’t have asked for a better home for Sullivan's Crossing,” Lisa Honig, EVP of Distribution North America, Fremantle, said in a previous press release. “We are thrilled to continue a strong partnership with them, especially around a series as genuine, compassionate and entertaining as this.”
The series debuted on Canada's CTV in March, becoming "the highest-rated Canadian drama launch in over two years." Now, it's heading across the border for viewers in the U.S. to enjoy.

Sullivan's Crossing centers around a neurosurgeon named Maggie Sullivan who gets charged with negligence after her business partner is indicted for fraud. "Looking to distance herself from the fallout, Maggie decides to leave Boston and return to her childhood home of Sullivan’s Crossing, a rustic and remote campground set against the stunning coastline still run by her estranged father, Sully Sullivan," according to The CW.
"There, Maggie rekindles old friendships and builds new ones with the local residents, including a handsome newcomer, Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray), who only serves to complicate her life further. As Maggie works on clearing her name and reputation, she is forced to confront her painful past, as she attempts to reconnect with a side of herself she had long forgotten."

Yes! The series was picked up for a second season prior to its premiere on The CW.
