Which Blake Lively Character You'd Be Friends with, Based on Your Zodiac Sign
From Serena on 'Gossip Girl' to Lily Bloom in 'It Ends With Us,' here's which Blake Lively character you'd be friends with, based on your zodiac sign
We all wish we could be friends with Blake Lively in real life, but which of her characters would hit it off with your zodiac sign?
Over the years, the actress has portrayed a variety of dynamic and, well, lively characters, ranging from Upper East Side golden girl Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl to old soul Adaline in The Age of Adaline.
Born on Aug. 25, 1987, Lively herself is a Virgo Sun and Leo Rising. While her hardworking nature and eye for detail in the industry perfectly represent her Earth sign zodiac, her ascendant in Leo is further exemplified in her sunny disposition and sparkling personality, which often comes through onscreen.
Seriously, who else wished we could be BFFs with the effervescent Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants or secretly admired Emily Nelson’s vivaciousness in A Simple Favor?
As she prepares to bring another character to life with Lily Bloom in It Ends With Us, PEOPLE spoke with astrologer Lisa Stardust about which of her characters would be friends with each zodiac sign.
Read ahead for which of her characters you’re most astrologically compatible with. (And be warned: Some light spoilers are ahead!)

Aries (March 21-April 19)
Aries, your sign would likely hit it off with Nancy in The Shallows, as Stardust points out that your warrior sign would “marvel over their brave pal, who escaped a dangerous shark.” Your “rambunctious Fire sign” would be drawn to this character, who is equally feisty for going head-to-head with a shark! “They can teach Aries about being strong and unafraid of anything life throws their way,” Stardust adds.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
It only makes sense that an Earth sign like Taurus would be friends with Lively’s bohemian character Ophelia "O" Sage in Savages. Similarly, as O finds herself in the middle of a love triangle, Stardust says that a Taurus can “sympathize with having feelings for two people at once, which is why they’ll offer advice to their friend in a triangular relationship.”
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Naturally, a Gemini would be drawn to the dualistic nature of Emily Nelson inA Simple Favor. As Stardust points out, this Air sign is known to be “duplicitous” so they’ll likely “get a thrill watching Emily deal with twin sister drama.” At the same time, they will likely relate to Emily’s adaptability as she created a whole new life for herself.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)
As a Cancer sign is often led by their emotions, they can relate to Lively’s character Glenda in Hick, who gets entangled in complicated relationships. Though Glenda faces various obstacles in the film, she is shown to have a sensitive side as she cares for both Angel and Luli, which Stardust points out will “draw in” a Cancer sign.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
While a Gemini is best suited for Deadpool, Leos would most likely hit it off with Ladypool, who is shown to be just as confident and daring as themselves. As Stardust points out, the Fire sign loves “being around big personalities like themselves who demand attention and get a kick out of asserting themselves.”

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
When it comes to the B to her S, Serena van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl would be BFFs with a Virgo, which just so happens to be Lively’s zodiac sign. While they would relate to Serena’s love for gossip and entertainment, they would also complement her by being the perfect shoulder to cry on. As Stardust points out, they would help bring the golden girl “down to earth when she gets lost in high school games and drama.”
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
A Libra would be drawn to Lily Bloom in It Ends With Us. Not only are they both charming with an artistic flair, but the Air sign would be compassionate about Lily’s complicated love history and how she dives headfirst into relationships. “They’ll understand Lily’s heart and guide her towards a healthy partnership in which she can thrive in matters of the heart,” Stardust notes.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
There’s nothing a Scorpio does better than revenge, and the same can be said for Stephanie Patrick in The Rhythm Section, who sets out to avenge her late family after they die in a plane crash. “The Water sign will assist Stephanie on how they can get payback on those who've wronged them,” Stardust notes, adding it will be “the basis of their relationship and admiration.”
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
A Sagittarius will get a kick out of Bridget’s adventurous spirit in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Stardust adds, that as a Fire sign, they will also admire her fiery spirt as well as “resilience as she embarks on self-discovery.”
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
As “Capricorns are old souls,” Stardust notes that they’ll easily relate to Adaline in The Age of Adaline. “The Earth sign is known to get better as they get older, as it’ll be easy for them to keep up with Adaline’s looks throughout the years,” Stardust adds.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Carol in Green Lantern is often portrayed as cool and collected, which is exactly what an Aquarius aims to be. Stardust notes that “the water-bearer will want to emulate their chic and suave BFF who doesn't stress over the little things like being a part of a war amongst superheroes and villains.”
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
As Pisces are known to be incredibly intuitive, they will perfectly complement Gina in All I See Is You. rely on their imagination, Stardust adds that “the water sign will understand Gina’s emotions, too, as they are known to be extremely empathetic.”
