'Big Brother 26's Eviction Provides a Devastating Blindside and a New Twist

Going into this week, the two big targets were Angela Murray and Tucker Des Lauriers. So things once again got thrown for a loop when they won the HoH and Veto this week, respectively. Unfortunately for Angela, Quinn Martin exercised his "Deepfake HoH" power to make his own nominations. Little did Quinn know, though, that there was yet another flip that was in the works. And, with all the powers flushed, Big Brother introduced its next big AI twist.

Check out more information about tonight's episode below and find out who was evicted.

Cedric Hodges

Cedric Hodges started the game powerless, "downgraded" without a vote in the very first week. He quickly rose to power, though, part of a core three that expanded out into the "Pentagon" and "Collective" alliances. When he won Head of Household, what started as a clean week became anything but, thanks to the big plans of Tucker Des Lauriers leading to a heated confrontation between the two. The next week, with his tight ally Quinn Martin taking over as HoH, Cedric allowed himself to go on the block as one of the biggest competition threats. And even if he lost both of the next competitions (which he happened to), he knew his alliances would protect him. But when Quinn outed to Kimo Apaka and T'Kor Clottey that a core alliance existed, they decided to turn the tables on the "Pentagon" right there. As a result, yet another blindside, and a stunned Cedric was gone.

Who Won the "BB AI Arena" competition tonight?

Makensy Manbeck

Through most of this week, Makensy was a dead woman walking. As she put in this week's eviction episode, she has no real alliance, which made her easy to cast off. But she was able to come through clutch in her final chance at safety, beating Rubina in the AI Arena by mere moments.

Who won Head of Household for Week 5?

The Head of Household competition did not play out in the eviction episode. We'll see who won HoH in Sunday's episode.

What is the new twist on Big Brother 26?

This week's episode introduced the "AI Instigator" twist. For the next few days, America will vote for which houseguest they want to become an "instigator." That person will get to use the AI avatar of another houseguest to spread misinformation about the other players. At the end of their instigation time, America then determines the amount they should be rewarded.
